I started Social Currency because I kept seeing the same problem: strategy lived in one place, execution lived in another, and business owners were stuck in the middle trying to connect the dots.

That didn’t make much sense to me.

So I built an agency that does both.

Business first. Marketing second.

Before I care about the content calendar, the campaign concept, or what the Instagram grid looks like, I want to know what’s actually happening in the business.

  • What are we trying to grow?
  • Who needs to care?
  • Why should they choose you?
  • And what is marketing supposed to do about it?

Because sometimes the answer isn’t more content.

Sometimes it’s better positioning. A clearer message. A smarter offer. A stronger campaign. Or simply knowing where not to waste money.

That’s the part of marketing I love.

I’ve worked on the brand side. Now I sit on the business side too.

My background spans brand marketing, content, social, experiential campaigns, creative strategy, and work connected to brands including Meta, Sun Bum, Coca-Cola, Hero Cosmetics, and Intersection.

Then I became a business owner myself.

And marketing looks very different when it’s your time, your budget, and your bottom line.

That perspective changed everything.

I’m not interested in making things just to make things.

I want to know where the business is going, what deserves attention, and how marketing can help move it forward.

Then we make it happen.

How we work

An extension of your business

The person in the kickoff call is the person building the strategy and reviewing every asset before it ships.

Numbers before creative

No campaign starts until we agree what it is supposed to move and how we will know whether it did.

A small roster on purpose

A limited number of clients at a time. It keeps the work sharp and the calendar honest.

Reporting you can argue with

Monthly numbers against the goal, including the months where the answer is that something is not working.
